1. Look after your car air conditioner

You really need your air conditioner working well during the summer and the reason is obvious: To beat the heat. The issue there is most drivers don’t bother about the A/C until when absolutely needed and you really do not want your A/C disappointing you when you need that air most.
To adequately prepare your car for summer, make sure you care for You’re A/C and doing this is quite simple.

  • Change your air filtersDepending on the kind of roads you frequent, change your air filter every 12,000 miles. A clean air filter ensures you get a cool breeze and also increases your fuel efficiency. Aside from this, uit increases your gas mileage.
  • Keep unpleasant smell outThat stinks! Have you ever turned You’re A/C on to only excalim in that manner? You’re A/C cac emit some bad smells if not properly cared for. Leaving moisture in your car vent is the most likely culprit. Regular cleaning of your air vent during regular ineterior cleaning or running You’re A/C on defrost mode before letting blow in full force could prevent this.
  • Protect your car exterior during off seasonThe way you take care of the outside of your car says a lot about how your A/C will work. Without any much talk, it is important to keep your vehicle in a shade during the summer, and have it waxed with a good polish so that your colling system will work well. You can read further on how to care for for your car.
  • Replacing the refrigant is important if you notice your A/C isn’t cooling as it should. In fact, taking your car for servicing is importsnt for the all round functioning of your car.

Ignoring your Windscreen wipers is like setting yourself up for heartbreak. We wouldn’t want that. So, using this simple techniques as given by Younger Nissan will work well for you

  • Clean your windshield every time you fill your gas tank.
  • Gently wipe the rubber squeegee with a damp paper towel to remove any loose dirt or oil.
  • Never use your windshield wipers to de-ice your windshield. Instead, either use an ice scraper or use your defroster to melt snow and ice.
